Our Mission
To provide the Honors community with the opportunity to be involved with philanthropic events which benefit the Honors, Iowa State University, and Ames communities.

About Us
The Philanthropy Committee is an enthusiastic group of Honors students who aim to help and improve their surrounding communities. Throughout the year, the committee plans fun and creative events that contain a philanthropic aspect. We provide community service opportunities and unique events to raise awareness and funds for worthy causes. The committee is headed by two Co-Chairs who are part of the HSB Executive Board and work with other executive members to coordinate events, budget the committee, and relay the committee’s ideas for HSB. Members of this committee bring unique and creative ideas for events, help with planning, and volunteer to work events.
